Whether you have heard of CL or not, it has been prophesied by those who know better that she is going to be a big breakout artist here in North America quite soon. The fact of the matter is that CL is already a massive Kpop star and has been singing for years with her group 2NE1, so really, she has nothing to prove to anyone. Like most international artists though, it is assumed that if you do not have a number one song or film or what have you in America, then you really have not made it at all. Beginning with 2NE1 and putting a couple of albums under her belt, numerous singles, EPs, videos and more, CL then made the decision to seriously step into solo waters with The Baddest Female and MTBD. Now she has come across the pond, has collaborated with Skrillex and has a new video with Diplo and one can say that her future is bright indeed. Not only that, with a new album coming out and all the talent in the world to back it up, CL is well on her way to establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with.
