The Warlord, Travis Morgan is still on the road and looking for his daughter Jennifer who has run into a little bit of trouble. So it is that our hero finds himself back at the village of the dwarves who helped him out in a previous mission, and before he can do a whole lot, the village is attacked by a Cyclops and Morgan knows that he cannot go any further without helping out his friends. The fun continues this issue with Morgan getting sidetracked once again, which always seems to happen no matter what he is doing or where he is going. Shakira had decided to join our hero on his quest which is a good thing as she adds a great dynamic to the book, not to mention some funny lines here and there which really lightens the story up from being so serious. The only problem with the series at this moment is the predictability of it. While the quests and goals that Mike Grell gives Morgan will be different, how he achieves them and what happens along the way has always had a sameness to it, a set formula that tends to get a little monotonous. They are still good stories, still fun and exciting almost all of the time, but it would be nice to see Grell surprise the reader, which has not happened in many issues. This particular tale also seemed quite short; though that would be in the literal sense as there was an OMAC backup tale in the book.
