Deimos is alive and mostly well as seen last issue and here he explains his resurrection and the gruesome story of his scars and the part Morgan’s deceased dog plays in it. Travis meanwhile wanted to try and live his life over from the start and that is exactly what the Eye of Truth gave him. Starting in a prehistoric age and moving forward through Atlantis and into the present, the Warlord is indeed living his life over but through every incarnation he has ever existed. But when he finally comes to his own life he reminisces about Tara and Machiste and everything he has done in Skartaris and he knows what he has to do. DC gives us another great issue from Mike Grell which proves to be a learning experience for our hero. Through every life he is seen to be a brave man and one who sacrifices and yet with his recent troubles and the death of his son, he has shown selfishness and he realizes that though it hurt, others needed to rely on him, specifically Tara and how abandoning her was wrong. We are also privy to the final days of Atlantis which also shows the death of one of Morgan’s past lives. When returning to the present, Morgan remembers nothing except that it is foolish to try and change the past, which is probably for the best. This was an interesting tale to be sure and different from what we normally see in the book, but Travis needs to head home to his family soon as being out on the road is not doing him any good.
