Hourman, who has been held as a prisoner as of late thanks to Injustice Unlimited, has finally managed to get one of his Miraclo pills out and swallowed and while it is all a little exciting, the man is soon put out of commission thanks to the Wizard. As readers have seen over the course of the last couple of issues, the Wizard is the big bad who came up with the big extortion plan and while it is all coming to fruition, there are moving parts that he has no control over. One of those as readers might guess is Solomon Grundy who after finally being released from the ice he was trapped in, is all sorts of rage and ready to take it out on those around him. As for Jade who happens to be standing right there and not in the best of shape, she might have her hands more than full. Back in Canada where the Wizard continues to stand over Hourman’s body, the rest of the Infinitors, the Global Guardians and the villains finally arrive back and as one might expect, there is no way that once the heroes see their fallen comrade, they are going to stand back and let the bad guys win the day. Roy and Dann Thomas along with Todd McFarlane and Tony DeZuniga kick things into overdrive during the last half of the issue and the results end up being a lot of fun for readers as the team finally gets to cut loose after what seems a long time of not being able to do so. With everything that has been going on after the Crisis, this was probably a long time in the coming and so as they take the fight to Injustice U, they do so even though the odds seem stacked against them. It is here that Thomas and the rest of the creative team introduce the game-changer that turns the tide for them all, that being Solomon Grundy who has decided to fight on the side of the angels or at the very least, for Jade, the creature wanting to repay the debt he feels is owed to her for freeing him. As for the fallen Hourman, he turns out to be less than all right as the Miraclo that runs through him causes him to do something he can never take back. At least one hopes it is the Miraclo.
