In lieu of there not being a T in the Park Festival this year, the annual event which takes place in Scotland and of which the 2016 edition was plagued by multiple problems and two unfortunate deaths, organisers have put on the TRNSMT Festival. It is for the most part, essentially the same festival – just bearing a different name and that frankly, is perfectly all right. This year would see the likes of Radiohead, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro headlining with other bands like The Kooks, Stormzy, London Grammar, Two Door Cinema Club, Blossoms and more take the stage to perform for the thousands in attendance over the course of three days at Glasgow Green. As it stands, it looks to be a very memorable event and if T in the Park should fail to return, TRNSMT looks to be a very suitable replacement.
