Though he played many roles throughout his lifetime like cop and cowboy, it will be as Batman that Adam West would leave his mark upon the world and it is definitely a poorer place without him. Rest in peace.

Yes, very sad. Another star of a sixties show passing is a sign of our times. Roger Moore (The Saint etc) only a few weeks ago. We are losing a generation, and the likes of whom we will not see again.
May watch a Batman episode later.
