The Magic Numbers have put out numerous songs which can be classified as good, but This is a Song is a perfect track – from the way it builds up during the intro to the vocals to the chorus. It is by all accounts, the best thing they have ever done and serves as an intro to the rest of their catalogue which is also worth a listen or ten. Great band, great song.
