Back in 1962, Smokey Robinson had an idea for a song which turned out to be You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me and his then band, The Miracles would take it to number eight on the charts. Fifty plus years later, the track remains as good as ever and a testament to the man’s ability as a songwriter.
