Wonderful pulptastic covers! That cover for Horror Hunters with the giant skull and the single eye is very creepy!

Yes! Another Pulptastic! I love the cat one with the flaming cross – The Black Magic Omnibus. Very striking visual. There are a lot of notable writers (and Dashiell Hammett editing) involved. It makes me wish I lived in the horror hay-day. It doesn’t seem like short horror stories are ‘a thing’ any more. I suppose the visual form has taken over. I wonder if Stephen King will be the last world-famous horror author with Blumhouse movies gobbling up dollars at the box office every few months. 😉

Well his son, Joe Hill has released a couple of horror anthologies and you can still find them online and stuff, but yes, they are not as big as they once were.

Right. I have Heartshaped Box. I wonder if his son will be a best selling big time author too.
