After Frankenstein’s Monster learns to speak from the old blind man, he cuts out to play a gig in town at the local club as he has a need to sing the blues. It does not end well and he goes back to the cabin where the film then picks up with the hunters coming upon the cottage where the hermit and the monster are staying and the tragic events that follow. The real tragedy is this scene being cut.

I didn’t know this was a cut scene, I always thought it was an unfinished sequel that James Whale couldn’t complete. Thanks for clearing that up.
