At 69 years old and with the release of his latest single Lazarus, David Bowie proves he still has what it takes to deliver stunning music no matter how many years might pass. The man has had a long and storied career, innovating and reinventing himself the whole time with different personas and musical styles so that you never knew exactly what you were going to see next. Whether it be the rocker, the rebel or the androgynous one, Ziggy Stardust, The Man Who Fell to Earth or the guy that toured with Nine Inch Nails – Bowie is a man that was never afraid to try anything. Not too many people can say they recorded albums in as many musical styles and genres as Bowie has done and maintained a career that has lasted over forty years without a loss in popularity. The man could rest on his laurels as he has nothing left to prove, but after taking quite a long hiatus, he has come back with not one, but two albums in the last couple of years, showing he still has something to say and that we are willing to listen.
