I love these Pulptastic articles. Campy, sexy, alluring, pulpy, fun. Is that Bettie Page as the Black Priestess of Varta? Haha. I like how the artists were inspired by beauties of the era. I’m also surprised by some of the acclaimed authors (Leigh Brackett here, she was screenwriter of Big Sleep, Rio Bravo, and mother flickin Empire Strikes Back!) who started off in pulp fiction like this. These posts are super nerdy retro cool. Right on.

I’m reblogging some of my favourite articles I trip over from the online Movie Nerd community. Don’t let this retro nerdy article from The TELLTALE MIND slip/through the cracks.
This series is called Pulptastic! highlighting sexy fun covers of pulp fiction classics. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
