As the President of the United States, Travis Morgan has to make the hard decisions. Luckily Morgan’s latest conundrum also somewhat aids him in his quest to get back home to Tara and the war against the New Atlanteans. Said problem finds the future United States in a precarious position, one that sees them eventually running out of food and resources and finally leading to the fall of the human race. The future adventures of Travis Morgan cannot be said to be boring and Cary Burkett has really been making things interesting. The first step on Morgan’s return home starts here and while it does not lead directly there, the man is well on his way. The great thing and the bad thing about time travel stories is that you already know the end result as has been shown in this particular tale. So while the ending has already been somewhat written, getting there has been a lot of fun. The book also happens to feature the latest on Tinder who has found himself a new friend in the form of a golden ape-type of creature. What the future holds for Tinder is unknown as of yet but as he seems to be with Jennifer at the moment, who is Morgan’s daughter, there is a pretty good chance that he will eventually meet up with the Warlord and hopefully this running plotline that has been around for dozens of issues will finally get resolved. It has been an interesting story, but all things have to end at some point. With the usual good artwork from Dan Jurgens, the Warlord keeps on delivering.

Thanks. I love doing these Issue by Issues, especially these older ones as it is nice to get reacquainted with them.
