I don’t know dude. I’m sick of remakes. John Carpenter did this first.Why would they steal his idea? I don’t even see “Based on John Carpenter’s The Thing” on the poster?

I kid, I kid. Great write-up dude! I need to grab all three of these on Blu-Ray at some point. I’m behind on the entire franchise.

I like Carpenter’s the best – it is a more visceral horror than this one. I did like the prequel too, not as good but it wasn’t bad.

Great review. The Thing From Another World is one of my fave films, always enjoy watching these old Sci-Fi films. Carpenter’s version of The Thing is my fave, but this old classic still packs a punch, and it looks good as well.
