The search for Jennifer is still on as she is in a peril greater than anyone could imagine. Morgan and Shakira are taking a break as they notice a moon in the sky, one of the strangest sights to have ever been seen in Skartaris. As the night goes on, sounds of battle are to be heard and bodies start to pile up and Morgan soon discovers another sight he never would have believed to be in this hidden world. It is nice to see that Mike Grell has not run out of ideas in the telling of this story, and really, why should he as this fantastical world has so many possibilities. This go round, Grell introduces the werewolf concept and does a good job of it and also ties it to supporting character Mariah, who is still lost in time at this moment. Whether Mikola Rostov, the werewolf in question, will remain a supporting character is unknown, but he is very magnetic and would be a great addition to the cast. There is a lot of action in this issue and it really moves it along at a quick pace which is a good thing with Morgan and Mikola teaming up to defeat the cannibal men. It was only a matter of time before Deimos would raise his head again and though he does not actually do it in this issue, the seeds are being planted for it and it all ties together with the fate of Morgan’s daughter. This was a short tale, due to there being another OMAC backup story, but a good one nonetheless.
