Issue by Issue – Moon Knight Volume 1 #33

Moon Knight is being profiled for a piece in the newspaper, but so is a man who goes by the name of Druid Walsh.  The article in question deals with the myth of the modern man, those that stand taller than others and our hero as well as Druid Walsh are two of those men.  But as the reporter gets to know Druid and digs into his ‘myth,’ she finds that most of what there is to know about him is just that, a myth.  Druid is not the bad guy that most people make him out to be and his feats of strength are just exaggerated stories.  He is obviously not the nicest of people, but he is not all that appears on the surface and he is soon driven to extremes.  This issue of Moon Knight by Doug Moench and Kevin Nowlan is another character piece, much like many other stories in the run, but by comparison, is also quite average.  There have been a lot of great stories in the title thus far, but there have also been some stories which just seem like they are there to take the place of great stories yet to come.  This is one such story, and while it is not completely boring, it is hardly very exciting either.  Hopefully there are better things to come.
