Moon Knight is facing off against Jack Russell in his werewolf form when all of a sudden he takes off towards the city. If Jack reaches the city, Moon Knight knows that possible tragedy could happen and so he takes off after him to stop him one way or another. Soon both men are captured by Belial and his Satanists who want to sacrifice Jack so they might drink his blood and become as powerful as him, cause chaos, etc., all in Satan’s name. The two heroes manage to escape, and come up with a plan which also requires them to be recaptured and once that happens, all hell breaks loose. The concluding chapter of Moon Knight’s team-up with Werewolf by Night was fairly good and proves that once in a while, it would be nice for our hero to have a guest star in the book. The issue has its fair share of action and also some good moments from our supporting characters, specifically Marlene who proves she is more than just a pretty face and a lady-in-waiting for Moon Knight when he needs a girlfriend. The rest of the cast also makes an appearance when they all head over to Gena’s diner which was, as luck would have it, empty. It still seems like overkill to have both the multiple identities and the multiple people working as your informants in the book as you really only need one or the other, but it is what it is. Also great was seeing a different kind of villain in the book and it would be nice to see that perpetuate down the road.
