Travis Morgan is nearly home when he is attacked by a wild animal. Defeating it, he heads on his way and sees the Theran army on the move. He knows that they can only be headed to one place and that is Shamballah, the place he loves best. Continuing on his travels, he meets up with a man whom he convinces to help him warn the outlying villages and they do just that. After stopping the army from advancing for the moment, it is shown that the man who aided Morgan is the same man who just happens to be raising his son. A decent issue from Mike Grell with a fair amount of action, though not much else. This issue has probably come as close to a ‘filler’ book in the series so far. It was written well and drawn well, but only featured an average story with none of the supporting characters present, not that they need to be. With Morgan’s son making an appearance, perhaps that storyline will be touched upon soon. The book was a quick read and was action packed but hopefully next issue improves upon this one.
