2013 was the year that finally saw HAIM break out into the mainstream with their blend of soul/funk/pop/rock. The sisters are fresh, exciting and a welcome voice to modern music.
Glen Hansard, a member of both the Frames and the Swell Season, has to be one of the most talented men in all of music. His music draws you in with the first notes and refuses to let you go until he finally puts down the guitar. The great thing about the guy is he keeps getting better and better with age.
