The Joy Formidable is one of the greatest rock bands to come out in the last five years or so. Their two albums, The Big Roar and Wolf’s Law, have produced some of the finest tracks you may never have heard. They should be bigger than they are right now, but with the constant touring and promotion that they do, it is only a matter of time.
Keane on the other hand were a piano band that made it to the top of the charts with songs like Everybody’s Changing and Bed Shaped. Incorporating a more fuller sound now with the addition of guitars and the like, the band has put out some fine albums recently with Strangeland and their Night Train EP and while currently on hiatus, hopefully it will not be for too long and we will get to see them again.
