While many people automatically go to Gentle On My Mind or Rhinestone Cowboy or Galveston when they think of the man, all of which are good songs in their own right, Dreams Of The Everyday Housewife is one of his best, perhaps due to the fact that it seems unassuming and something that he would probably never sing.  Such as it is though, it has always remained a staple during most of his concerts and shows just how versatile an artist he ultimately was.
