As per usual, the Coachella festival which takes place every spring in Indio, California, has a massive lineup of talent that automatically makes it one of the biggest music festivals in the world. Taking place over two weekends, it will see almost every advertised act play both and should one happen to miss a favourite band or singer on the first weekend, there is always the second to get another chance. This year has already been marred by technical difficulties during headliner Radiohead’s set, not once but three times where the band even had to leave the stage. Headliner Beyoncé was replaced by Lady Gaga, some thinking it fitting and others not. Still to come is Kendrick Lamar who headlines Sunday night and by all accounts, it may be the most anticipated slot of the whole weekend. With acts ranging from Two Door Cinema Club to Chicano Batman to Future and BANKS to Glass Animals and Future Islands, there is no shortage of musical styles and diversity and that is what continues to make Coachella a great experience for those that attend. Below are just a few videos of what has transpired this year so far:
Radiohead – Idioteque
Two Door Cinema Club – Bad Decisions
Phantogram – You Don’t Get Me High Anymore
Empire of the Sun – Walking on a Dream
Glass Animals – Life Itself
Crystal Castles – Concrete
Father John Misty – Ballad Of The Dying Man
Chicano Batman – Friendship (Is A Small Boat In A Storm)
Kaleo – Way Down We Go
