Once again, it is that time of year where Radio 1 throws their annual bash called the Big Weekend and big it is with many of today’s top musical acts taking the stage for two huge days. Saturday is strong with Bastille, CHVRCHES, Jess Glynne, Mumford & Sons, Meghan Trainor, Bring Me the Horizon and more, but it is Sunday which looks to be the day which most will want to attend with Coldplay, Biffy Clyro, Ellie Goulding, The Last Shadow Puppets, Years & Years, Kygo, Alesso and The Weeknd playing – just to name a few. The Big Weekend may not be the largest festival to take place during this time of the year, but it is almost always a good one with this one looking to be no exception.
