Many might cast them aside, but horror films often have good soundtracks (or really, really bad ones). The Forest is one of those films that does indeed boast a good one. Quiet at times, boastful during others and fairly eerie throughout, it makes for an interesting listening experience whether you were a fan of the film or not. Composed by Bear McCreary, the music takes you on a journey into that very same forest depicted in the movie and is enjoyable whether as a companion to the film or simply by itself. It might be purely instrumental, but it never fails to entertain.
