Sunday Sessions – Scott Weiland

With the recent passing of Scott Weiland, one cannot help but look back at his body of work and be quite impressed. The man had a very successful career putting out six albums with Stone Temple Pilots, two with Velvet Revolver and four on his own. That equals more work then many can say they have accomplished in a life twice as long. It is true that the man had problems and who can say that they themselves do not, whether it is eating too much or drinking or smoking or what have you. Looking back over the albums and the hits, you wonder with such a history behind him, what would the future have held? More solo albums? Reunions? STP has never really been the same without him and a Velvet Revolver without Weiland in the lead is impossible to fathom. So while it was a tragedy to lose someone so talented, he leaves behind a rich legacy of work that is just waiting to be rediscovered by fans old and new.
