Sunday Sessions – Me First and the Gimme Gimmes

There are a lot of cover bands in the world and a lot of people that do covers, but none so good as Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. The band is made up of members from various other punk bands including Fat Mike, Chris Shiflet, Spike Slawson, Joey Cape and Dave Raun and they transform every song into one that never fails to entertain. Whether it is Paula Abdul, Simon & Garfunkel, R. Kelly or Kenny Rogers, they have no trouble making the songs into the most enjoyable versions of themselves and you have not lived until you have heard them sing My Heart Will Go On or End of the Road. Here are some examples of their work including a few live shows to give you an idea of what they are about, which in the end, is a lot of fun.
