Morgan and Scarheart are in a port town looking for aid from someone named Patch. By the looks of it, the Atlanteans have overrun most of Skartaris including this port and of course, if there is trouble to be found, Travis Morgan will find it or create it. So it is that a scuffle with some Atlanteans takes place, followed by a fight against Patch’s men until finally, things quiet down and he is able to acquire what he needs. Sort of. Dan Jurgens and Cary Burkett deliver another fun romp featuring our hero and one that is a little more lighthearted than what has been seen of late. What is really nice to see is that Burkett has been using Scarheart a little more of late and though the man never talks, he is fast becoming one of the better supporting characters in the book and even better, it requires Dan Jurgens to up his game as everything Scarheart says is related through body language and facial expressions. Patch is an interesting new character, one that could be seen as a long-time supporting member of the cast if played correctly and while she is new to the book, Burkett reveals quite a bit about her in a very short amount of time. Of course, one of the setbacks to this storyline is the length of time it is taking to wind it all up as the Atlantean plot has been going on for a very long while. The upside to it all is that should future chapters of this story be as entertaining as this one, then the length of said plot will matter very little. Time will obviously tell.
