Kodaline could very well be the next big band to come out of Ireland, or really anywhere.  They have a big, yet subtle sound that engages the listener and holds their attention until even after the music has ended.  Some songs such as the anthemic High Hopes and the seemingly U2 inspired Love Like This are just two songs that are destined to make them crowd favourites.  For being such a relatively new band, they already liken towards being the new Coldplay or Radiohead, with big, booming, crowd-pleasing songs.  Their first album, In a Perfect World, opening with the mournfully joyous One Day and leading into the yearning of All I Want lets the listener know they are in for something special.  Ending on the simple yet wonderful Way Back When, a song about life and living it to the fullest you feel like you have just finished a journey.  That journey just might be the discovery of a band on their way to bigger and better things.
