Indestructible Hulk #11

Within these pages begins a new story arc entitled Agents of T.I.M.E. where Hulk and crew have to deal with… time.  This all spins out of Age of Ultron where at the conclusion of that series we were told that time was now broken due to the various heroes and villains abusing the time stream.  The good thing at least is there are some ramifications of Age of Ultron being felt and some books actually dealing with it.  Waid delivers a spot on script again and Matteo Scalera provides adequate pencils for this tale.  We also find out that Shield has another secret division which is getting a little repetitive.  I am sure there are many more secret divisions, but that is two in two months we have been introduced to.
Good stuff, from a good book but nothing outstanding this go round.

Fearless Defenders #7

This book keeps getting better every month with Cullen Bunn delivering another top notch story and beautifully painted art by Stephanie Hans.  Valkyrie is feeling terrible this issue over the death and her killing of Dr. Annabelle Riggs.  So what else is there to do except bring her back to life, right?  Also in this issue we see the return of Clea which is awesome, because Clea is awesome!!  So she and Valkyrie head off to Valhalla and of course do what they set off to do, but with a twist.  Great stuff from a book that just keeps getting better.

Guardians of the Galaxy #5

The book opens up with Angela, the Image/Spawn/Gaiman character being all pissed off, same as she was in her last appearance during Age of Ultron.  Nothing really new or revelating.  There is some good interaction between Rocket and Tony and we get to see Mantis again after a long time absent.  We are also treated to yet more after effects of the ‘breaking time’ storyline which spun out of the AoU mini.  While everyone is chillaxin’ the Guardian’s get a ping on the radar and decide to intercept Angela as she is speeding towards Earth.  Suffice it to say, sparks fly as Gamora engages Angela in battle.  Bendis delivers another good story and Pichelli gives us some more gorgeous art which a book like this deserves.
